At Biomes, we often turn to supporters to help us maintain the largest living collection of local salt water animals in New England. Below is a list of equipment and services that we are currently in need of. If you would like to help with aquarium maintenance, group tours or specimen collecting, please see our volunteer page.

Biomes is not a non-profit, so donations are not tax deductible. However, our animals will thank you.

Equipment:

Old towels for rags.

New towels for hands-on stations (blue).

Hood reflectors (these are light fixtures that go over an aquarium).

Bulk shrimp (shell-on).

Canister and back filters (preferably Fluvals and Whispers).

Aquarium chiller units.

Plastic plants, dry coral and other decor.

Services:

We are currently in the process of converting our facility to a 501(3)c and have a need for legal and accounting help.
