Volunteers Make it Happen at Biomes

We are looking for responsible, hard-working individuals at least 18 years old* to assist our staff with the operation of Rhode Island’s only privately-owned marine biology center.

We are now looking for volunteers interested in assisting with Summer Camp and Summer Walk In Hours.

What is required?

A strong work ethic, a desire to learn and a great attitude.

What will you do?

We are looking for individuals interested in assisting our Biologists with Summer Camp and/or “Life guarding” our hands-on exhibits during Summer Walk In Hours.

What will you get out of it?

Experience, experience, experience!

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the marine or biological sciences, teaching, or anyone interested in learning more about the marine environment.
