Have us set up an aquarium in your school!
For 2 weeks, one month, or the entire school year, you can have your own salt water aquarium to enjoy and learn from.
One Month Aquarium Program
For Grades K - 12
This is how Biomes got its start! This interactive program allows you to utilize living marine life in your classroom. We will set up a 20 gallon tank in your classroom for one month. Each week we will return to introduce new animals.
Week 1: Echinoderms (sea stars, urchins, and cucumbers)
Week 2: Crustaceans (crabs and shrimp)
Week 3: Mollusks (clams and snails)
Week 4: Fish
A comprehensive curriculum guide will be provided containing information, quizzes, lesson plans, and activities. Detailed fact sheets and step by step instructions help you make the most of the experience.
$400/tank MA and CT add $25 travel fee
•Multiple tanks are available.
•Additional curriculum guides are available for $2/each.

Two Week Aquarium Program
Similar to the One Month Aquarium series, this program focuses on individual topics. The aquarium and its inhabitants will be set up in your classroom and will be picked up 2 weeks later. A curriculum guide and instructions will also be provided.

(Featuring the cast of Eric Carle’s book)
For grades K - 5

Year Long Aquarium Program
This program allows you to have a 40 gallon salt water aquarium in your school for the entire school year!
We will set up your aquarium with local marine life and fact sheets about each of them. We will then return every three weeks to maintain it for you. All you have to do is feed your animals and turn their light off at night. Pre-measured food jars make feeding easy. The aquarium and its inhabitants will be picked up at the end of the school year.
$800/ year for RI schools $1100/year for MA and CT schools
